Extraction and Installation instructions

All Jollybean software is supplied as a compressed (‘zip’) file and must be ‘unzipped’ to a user-created folder before being used. To unzip the files you can use the commercially available WinZip application or you can download a freeware program called 7zip which is also capable of uncompressing the files.

 As well as the main executable file (the .exe) there is always an initialisation file (the .ini) and often one or more sound files (.wav), image files (.jpg) or other format files (e.g. text in .txt). In all cases, all the files extracted from the zip file MUST be kept in the same folder local to one another for the programs to work properly. If you decide to substitute any of the images or sounds with your own then these must reside in the same folder also.
